Product catalogue and AI knowledge
Your workspace catalogue supplies the facts used by product search, recommendations and product questions. Keep names, descriptions, images, stock and sales links accurate. AI instructions guide responses; they do not replace missing product facts or guarantee an answer.
Create or update a product
Select the workspace, open Inventory, and add or edit a product. Review its name, brand, SKU, barcode, description, stock, status, images, tags, collections and sales links. Preserve identifiers exactly, including leading zeros. Save and refresh to confirm the result. See reusable product questions for ordered question assignments.
A product's status and stock have different meanings. Active products can be published in the customer catalogue; stock records available units or a clearly identified source availability indicator. A stock value does not replace publication status, and a product card is not a checkout or a reservation of inventory.
Use product details
The Text, Builder and JSON modes let you work with free text and structured product information. An empty Text field does not mean the entire product information is empty: review Builder or JSON for source properties. Preserve existing structured facts when adding your own notes. JSON must remain valid before saving.
Store relevant materials, ingredients, dimensions, care instructions, variant options and other verified facts in product information when available. Do not invent certifications, medical claims, size guarantees or source measurements. Keep synchronization metadata intact and check which source controls a field before editing imported data.
Organize and illustrate
Use tags and collections to organize browsing. Attach images owned by the selected workspace. Products display up to five images; uploaded images take priority over external photos, and store imports retain the first five source images in their source order. A Shopify variant image takes priority among external photos.
Use descriptive product names and descriptions in their original language. Check image quality, destination URLs and price/currency information before publishing. Remove personal data and secrets from product text and images: published catalogue content can be read by customers and used by the assistant.
Synchronize connected stores
Follow the provider-specific setup and source rules:
- Shopify: variant import, source status, inventory updates and synchronization progress.
- ikas: store approval, catalogue synchronization and storefront activation.
- Trendyol and Hepsiburada: granular permissions, source badges and cross-source matching.
Synchronizing products and activating a storefront chatbot are separate steps. Source-owned facts may be updated by later synchronization. Check failed or pending work in the provider app instead of repeatedly importing the same products. Disconnecting a provider does not transfer its credits or make its products authoritative over another source.
Improve discovery and answers
Standard keyword search is available by default. Owners can optionally enable semantic product search with workspace-specific indexing and search limits. Enabling it does not remove product visibility, visitor access or AI credit checks.
For useful answers, combine accurate product facts with clear AI instructions and product questions. Review the assistant with representative customer questions. Missing facts should lead to an honest limitation, not fabricated details. Daily store suggestions can help owners identify catalogue improvements when enabled.
